Ms. Uwihangana Consolee is a holder of a Master’s of Science (Msc) in Social Work and Human Rights from Gothenburg University- Sweden, a Master’s of Arts (MA) in Development Studies from The University of Rwanda and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the National University of Rwanda. Ms. Uwihangana Consolee possesses a Certificate on Psychosocial Support of People Living with HIV/AIDS from Tulane University, USA and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) from York Saint John University (UK). Before joining the University of Rwanda, she worked as a Social worker Trainer for Women for Women International, Rwanda Chapter. Ms. Uwihangana Consolee is now an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Social, Political and Administrative Sciences.

Her research interest is in Social Work and Human rights, especially women’s rights, children’s rights and family welfare.
