Mr Jean Baptiste Ndikubwimana is a Researcher and Assistant lecturer in the University of Rwanda-School of Social, political and administrative sciences. He holds a Bachelor in Political and Administrative Sciences, two Master's degrees: Master's in Human Rights and Conflict Prevention, and MA in Development Studies; He also did Post graduate training in Global studies organized by Arcadia University (USA) at Nyerere Peace Research Centre, Arusha Tanzania. He is currently conducting two researches:

(1) One Cow Per Poor family as a Tool of Conflict Transformation in Rwanda

(2) The book chapter for OSSREA under the theme of “Inclusive Growth and Development; Challenges and Opportunities in Eastern and Southern Africa” on the topic: VUP and its component of Financial Direct Support to the Poor as a strategy of Poverty Reduction in Rwanda: Challenges and opportunities”

He presented his paper entitled “Promotion of entrepreneurship in the post-genocide period in Rwanda: What are opportunities and challenges?” at the International Research and Policy Workshop on Employment and Stability, Rwanda, 7-8 July 2015, Le Palme Hotel Musanze.
From the 1st to the 2nd August 2014, he presented a paper on “Promotion of entrepreneurship in the post-genocide period in Rwanda: What are opportunities and challenges?” at the OSSREA workshop Theme: 20th Commemoration of Genocide against Tutsi: how has Rwanda fared?
He presented his paper entitled “Women’s Participation in Political Leadership in Rwanda: Challenges and Opportunities” under the theme of “women’s participation in peace building in the great lakes region” that will take place on 12-13 may 2014 at Nobleza Hotel, in Kigali.
